Mathematics Co-ordinates

This week in Mathematics, (geometry) we have looked at
 co-ordinates and how it's being used in our every day lives.
We first watched a video clip on how to use
 co-ordinates and took notes as we went along. From this, we create our own co-ordinates. We drew a co-ordinate grid in our maths book. We also took notes about the X axis and the
Y axis, which is known as the positive numbers and the
X dash and the Y dash is known as the negative numbers.
Also in co-ordinates we use the X axis first. We can use co-ordinates when reading maps or institutions such as the navy and army use co-ordinates in their training.
