During Week 9, two Tae Kwon Do instructors named Peter and Steve came to our school for a trial with some of our students. The reason for the trials you may ask? We are lucky enough to have Tae Kwon - Do lessons next term stretching over an 8 week period and all the students will be involved in this. We will be learning some new martial arts skills, but also values we can use in our everyday lives.
Steve Heke is also an expert in using the taiaha and a group of 20 students will use this opportunity to develop their ability to learn and improve the art of using this traditional Maori technique. Enjoy the following clips.
