Currently 12 of the GIS science students take part in the Kiwibots Pebbles Program. Here they build and modify their own robot. The students have been divided into 2 groups of 6. Each group had to create a robot. After we completed our robot's, 3 school came together at the Vodafone Events Centre in Manukau to compete. This is not an actual competition, but is based more on how to collaborate as a team to score maximum points. At the end of each session, the engineer in charge (Chris Hamling) gives them some new equipment to modify their robot's. He also gives them advice on how to make their robot's perform better.

We loved it.
